Vangi bath
ingredients:

1 cup rice
(cooked)
-
4 small
brinjals
-
2 tbsp vangi bath
powder
-
1 tsp chana
dhal
-
few curry
leaves
-
1 tsp lemon
juice
-
1 tbsp
oil
-
salt to
taste
Vangi bath
preparation:
-
Heat a pan with oil and add curry
leaves and chana
dhal.

When they turn into golden brown
colour add sliced brinjals and little amount
of salt.

Close with a lid and cook on low
flame untill they become
tender.

Add 1-2 tbsp of vangi bath powder
and required quantity of
salt.

Saute for 3-5
mins.
-
Remove from flame and keep
aside.

Spread the cooked rice in a large
plate.

Add vangi bath mixture and lemon
juice.
-
Combine gently and adjust the
salt.
-
Now vangi bath is ready to
serve.

Serve with potato chips, papad or
any other side dish of your
choice.
