chicken roast
(South indian spicy and
tasty chicken fry recipe)

Spicy chicken roast
ingredients:
- 500g chicken
- 1 medium size onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium size tomato, finely chopped
- 1 tsp chilli powder or to taste
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- few coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
Paste
ingredients:
- 5 garlic pods
- 1" fresh ginger chicken
- 3/4 tsp peppercorns
Spicy chicken fry
preparation:
- Cut the chicken into bite size pieces and wash and
drain the water completely.
- Make a paste with paste ingredients and keep
aside.
- Heat a pan with oil and add mustard seeds.
- When they start to pop add chopped onion and saute till
they turn into golden brown colour.
- Then add chopped tomatoes and salt.
- Saute till the tomatoes become juicy.
- Then add ground paste and saute till the raw smell
disappears.
- Now add chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric
powder.
- Mix well and saute for few seconds.
- Now add the washed chicken pieces and little quantity
of water.
- Cloce the pan with a lid and cook on medium low flame
till the chicken become tender.
- Then add chopped coriander leaves and adjust salt.
- Finally your easy and tasty chicken fry is ready.
- Serve your yummy and spicy chicken roast with
Biryani, Sambar rice, etc...
