Roti or Chapathi
(Indian Breakfast Recipe)
Roti
Ingredients:

3 cups wheat flour
-
1 cup water
-
a pinch of salt
-
1 tsp of oil
-
Some flour for
dusting

Roti or chapathi
preparation:

Mix the flour,salt oil and water and
make a dough.

Cover the dough and keep restly for 2
hours.

Divide the dough into small
balls.
-
Take some flour and dip the
ball.
-
Keep the dipped ball in a flat
surface and roll out into a thin ,round shape
with a rolling pin.

Now preheat the tawa over medium
heat.

Place the rolled roti on the tava and
brush with little oil.
-
Fry for few seconds until bubbles
appear on top.
-
Then turn it over and brush with
little oil.
-
Fry for another few seconds and
remove from the tawa.
-
Do the remaining roti or chapathis in
the same process.
-
Serve warm with aloo or pickle.
