Radish chutney
ingredients:
- 1 radish (big
size)
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 8 red chillies or to
taste
- 3 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
Seasoning
ingredients:
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- few curry leaves

Radish chutney
recipe:
- Peel and cut the radish into small pieces.
- Heat a pan with oil.
- Add red chillies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, mustard
seeds, fenugreek and saute for few mins.
- Remove from the pan and keep aside.
- Now add peeled and chopped radish pieces and saute for
5-10 mins.
- Remove from heat and keep aside.
- In the same pan add chopped onion and chopped
tomato.
- Saute till the tomatoes become juicy.
- Remove from heat and allow them to cool for
sometime.
- Add the sauteed ingredients except radish and onion,
tomato in a mixer jar.
- Make a fine powder and then add radish, tamarind pulp,
onion, tomato and salt.
- Once again grind it to a fine paste or your desired
consistency.
- Add water if required and adjust salt.
- Now heat a pan and do the seasoning and pour the
mullangi paste.
- Cook on low flame for 5 mins and remove from heat.
- Mullangi
pachadi is ready to serve.
- Serve
with plain white rice, dosa, idly, etc...
