Potato bajji (Aloo bajji)

(Indian easy and tasty snack recipe)

Potato bajji igredients:

  • 2 potatoes cut into thin slices
  • 1 cup besan flour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • a pinch of baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp chilli powder or to taste
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep fry

Aloo bajji preparation:  

  • Mix the flours, chilli powder, baking soda and salt with required quantity of water.
  • The batter should't be too thick nor too thin.
  • Now heat a pan with oil.
  • Dip the potato slice into the batter and slowly leave into the oil.
  • Deep fry on both sides till they turn into beautiful golden yellow colour.
  • Remove from heat and drain the oil.
  • Now your yummy and delicious potato bajji is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with chutney, sauce or ketchup.
