Pineapple kesari bath ingredients:

  • 1 cup sooji (rava)
  • 2 cups sugar or to taste
  • 2-21/2 cups water
  • 1 cup pineapple pieces (finely chopped)
  • a pinch cardamom powder
  • a pinch kesari colour
  • 1/2 cup ghee

Garnishing ingredients:

  • few cashewnuts
  • few badam
  • few pista

Pineapple kesari preparation:

  • Heat a deep pan with 2 tbsp of ghee.
  • Roast the sooji in low flame till they turn into light golden yellow colour.
  • Remove from flame and keep aside.
  • In the same pan add 2 tbsp of ghee and roast the garnishing ingredients till they turn into golden yellow colour.
  • Remove from heat and broken into small pieces and keep aside.
  • Heat the same pan with water for 5 mins.
  • Add the chopped pineapple pieces and cook till soft.
  • Add a pinch of kesari colour and mix well and allow to boil.
  • Now add roasted rava and keep stiring. (add rava slowly in continuous flow while stiring)
  • Once the rava is cooked add sugar and keep stiring.
  • Now add the remaining ghee and mix well.
  • Finally garnish with garnishing ingredients and pineapple kesari bath is ready to serve.
