Paratha ingredients:

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • required quantity of water
  • oil for basting
  • 1 tsp salt

 

Parata preparation:

  • Mix the flour with salt, oil, water and make a soft and smooth dough.
  • Cover the dough with a clean and wet cloth and keep restly for 2 hrs.
  • Then divide the dough into lemon size equal balls.
  • Keep the ball in a flat surface and roll out with a rolling pin.
  • Then fold it into half and again roll it to a small round.and apply some ghee.
  • Fold into half and again fold the same.
  • Again start rolling and form a round shape.
  • Heat a pan and put the rolled paratha..
  • When the bubbles appear on the top sprinkle some oil around the parota then turn it over.
  • When the bubble colour changes to light brown remove from flame.
  • Finally your paratha is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with channa masala.
