Idly upma
ingredients:
- 4 idly (restover or fresh)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 green chillies or to taste (sliced or chopped)
- 1/2 inch ginger piece (minced)
- few coriander leaves
- salt to taste
Seasoning
ingredients:
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dhal
- 1/2 tsp chana dhal
- few curry leaves
- 1 tbsp oil

Idli upme
preparation:
- Heat a pan with oil and add mustsrd seeds.
- When they start to pop add remaining seasoning
ingredients.
- Saute till they turn into golden yellow colour.
- Add sliced onions, minced ginger and green
chillies.
- Saute till they turn into pale golden brown
colour.
- Now add crumbled idly, salt and combined well.
- Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve
hot.
- Serve your idly uppuma with coconut chutney or
pickle.
