Cabbage kofta curry

1/2 kg cabbage
-
1/4 cup besan flour
-
1 green chillie, finely chopped
-
1/4 tsp chilli powder or to
taste

1/4 tsp coriander powder
-
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
-
salt
to taste
Curry
Ingredients:
-
1 onion, finely chopped
-
1 tomato, small size, finely
chopped
-
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
-
1/2 tsp chilli powder
-
1/2 tsp coriander powder
-
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
-
1/2 cup thick yogurt
-
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
-
few coriander leaves for
garnishing

Kofta
preparation:
-
Finely chop the cabbage. Wash and
drain the water and keep aside.

Take a pot and add a cup of water and
bring it to boil.
-
Add finely chopped cabbage and cook
well till the cabbage become very tender and
soft.
-
Remove from heat and drain the water
completely.
-
In a mixing bowl add the remaining
kofta ingredients and drained cabbage.

Mix well and make soft and smooth
dough.
-
Now divide the above dough into small
equal size balls.
-
Deep fry the balls in hot oil till
they turn into beautiful golden brown
colour.

Remove from oil and drain the excess
of oil.
-
Now your cabbage koftas are ready and
keep aside.
Gravy
preparation:
-
Heat a pan with oil and add mustard
seeds.
-
When they start to crackle add
chopped onions.
-
Sauté till the onions become golden
brown colour.
-
Add chopped onions and required
quantity of salt.
-
Sauté till the tomatoes become
juicy.
-
Add ginger garlic paste and sauté
till the raw smell disappears.
-
Now add chilli powder, coriander
powder and turmeric powder.
-
Combine well and sauté for few
seconds.
-
Add well beaten curd and ½ cup of
water.
-
Cook on low flame for 10 mins or
until the gravy becomes slightly
thicker.
-
Finally adjust salt and add the
koftas and again cook for few more
mins.

Garnish with coriander leaves and
enjoy your easy and tasty cabbage kofta curry
with roti, paratha, rice, etc…
