(potato peas kurma or
potato peas curry)

Aloo mutter
ingredients:
- 1/4 kg aloo (peel & cut into 1" cubes)
- 1 cup mutter (cooked)
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
- few coriander leaves for garnishing
Paste
ingredients:
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tomato (finely chopped)
- 1 inch ginger piece
- 3 garlic flakes
- 3 green chillies

Aloo mutter
preparation:
- Make a paste with paste ingredients.
- Heat a deep pan with oil and add mustard seeds.
- When they start to pop add the ground paste.
- Saute till the raw smell disappears or the oil
separates from the paste.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder,
turmeric powder and salt.
- Combine well and saute for few mins.
- Add potato cubes, mutter and little amount of
water.
- Cover with a lid and bring it to boil.
- Cook on low flame till the potatoes become tender.
- Finally adjust salt and garnish with coriander
leaves.
- Aloo mutter or potato peas curry is ready to
serve.
- Serve hot with roti, paratha,etc...
